Fairway & Kenwood Car Services has documented this environmental Policy which is appropriate to the nature, scale and environmental impacts of our activities and services. We are committed to the care of the environment and our goal is to continuously reduce harmful emissions.
We will comply with all applicable environmental legalisation, regulations and all other legal requirements, which we subscribe to. We are committed to waste minimisation as the cornerstone of our policy.
Waste reduction provides long term benefits in two ways. Firstly, it is an investment in a safe clean environment, and secondly, it is good business. Our Company is demonstrating a commitment to continual improvement and prevention of pollution.
Education and training is the key issue to encourage our drivers to reduce the CO2 emissions by driving more responsible and by maintaining our fleet more effectively.
We have developed an environmentally driving code for all our drivers with the purpose of reducing the amount of fuel consumed, reducing fuel waste by better driving methods and in an environmentally responsible manner.
The benefits will improve engine efficiency, reduce costs and this in turn; will reduce our effects on global warming. Our Environmental Management System which satisfies the requirements of BS EN ISO 14001:2004 provides the framework for both setting and reviewing our environmental objectives and targets for the future. Our Objectives are set at our Management Review Meetings.
Our policy is documented, implemented, and maintained. It has been communicated to all persons working for or on behalf of the organisation, and is available to the public on request.
It is the responsibility of all employees, to support and apply those sections of our procedures that relate to their activities within our facility.
